The Music Dept is looking to celebrate the enormous contribution that
Mrs Cross (the artist formerly known as Ms Maher) has made to so many Elizabeth College musicians. We are planning to mark the occasion of her (VERY) early retirement with an event 3pm-4:30pm to be held at College on Friday 10 July. If you would like to be a part of this celebration (string players in particular!) please get in touch with the Director of Music, Elizabeth Willcocks

Simon Dorey has sent the OEA the above photograph of his father
Laurence Dorey (4119). It is possibly the last cricket match before Evacuation on Thursday 20
th June 1940. Can you name any of the others in the photo?
Steve Sharman (7555) welcomed 49 new members to the OEA at the Year 13 Leavers’ Assembly at the end of term. It was a special gathering, especially as the Assembly is usually earlier in the calendar, but due to the corona virus had to be delayed. It has been a very different year for the leavers this year, but we wish them every success as they move on to their next chapter and a very warm welcome to the OEA.
Mr Morris has retired after 47 years teaching at Elizabeth College, having first arrived in 1973. At his last lesson at College, he was surprised with 47 balloons and cupcakes by one of his first students Chris Veron (6350).
OEs
Mike Martel (4952),
Nick Mace (8274) and
Adam Jory (7916) will take part in a mini-Imperial Shooting meeting at Bisley in September. The meeting has been delayed due to Covid 19 restrictions and also limited to 500 entrants, partly to allow correct distancing on firing points.
