After Elizabeth College, I read geography at St Hilda’s College, University of Oxford. I was an Oxford Blues High Performance Athlete Scholar and competed at fencing at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia.
I have been working in the UK Civil Service since 2019, now under two Prime Ministers and seven Secretary’s of State. My role has been to provide financial strategy advice to Ministers during a time of constant political change. I have worked at BEIS, DfE and currently DHSC. I worked on two Spending Reviews (building the governments children social care funding strategy), worked on both COVID-19 and Brexit financial policy, was finance lead on the 2022 Health and Care Act, led NHS operational financial planning for 2022-23, provided urgent support for the governments response to the Ukraine-Russia war, served as Private Secretary to two secretary’s of state and led DHSC’s response to rising inflation.
I have completed the ACCA, having won multiple exam prizes, including achieving highest mark in the world for Strategic Business Leadership.
I will be joining the Foreign Office in the new year to be the lead on financial strategy and planning of all of FCDO policy budgets and the UK international aid budget.
