Many OEs will remember the benefits of being part of the Scouts. The Scouts and younger age groups, known as the Beavers and the Cubs, aim to prepare young people with skills for life.
The 6th Guernsey Elizabeth College Group, which meets in the Scout Hut on College Field, is in need of volunteers and hoped our community could help them.
Beavers – Wednesday 6pm – 7.15pm
Cubs – Thursday 6pm – 7.30pm
Scouts – Friday 7pm – 9pm
Volunteering can be a brilliant way to boost your mental wellbeing. It’s a great feeling knowing you’re helping young people get skills for life, and you might even learn a lot about yourself along the way.
If you think you’d have time to help please get in touch with E: jane.king@scouts.org.gg
