Principal's Letter to The OEA

I am delighted to welcome you to the Network OE Community.

Mrs Palmer with students in the Saint John Robillard (5765) Learning Garden at Elizabeth College.

We are very fortunate in Guernsey to enjoy a close-knit and cohesive society, and these qualities of friendship and support are reflected in the Old Elizabethan community in Guernsey, the UK and further afield.

We are always interested to hear how you, our alumni, are faring in the world, and we hope that you are interested in what life at the College is like now. We know that many of you enjoy keeping up to date with the exciting changes and developments happening over the 5 College sites. The Elizabethan, the College Website and NetWork OE, a dedicated website for the OE community, are all great places to keep up with to date with College news wherever you are based and whatever adventures you are currently engaged with.

This website www.OEA.org.gg will enable you to connect with friends you may have lost touch with and rekindle your interest in life at Elizabeth College.  We also hope that those of you who may not yet have engaged with the Old Elizabethan community may take up the opportunity to join in with regular reunions, annual OE dinners in Guernsey and in London, OEA sporting teams or to get involved with the College in other ways, as well as receiving regular updates. It really is a very special and welcoming community to be a part of and we value the skills, experiences, time and expertise that you contribute.

Jenny Palmer
Principal of Elizabeth College (8989)
