James Colmer (8027) became a full-time artist at the end of 2022. Since then he has had some lovely projects. Highlights include illustrating a series of puffin stamps for Guernsey Post, with the aim of showcasing the commendable efforts of Alderney Wildlife Trust in safeguarding the puffins that migrate to the Island for nesting every year. The icing on the cake was that the artwork had to be sent to Buckingham Palace for Royal approval! James also took on the task of illustrating and designing Jag Sherbourne's latest book, titled "Clouds in my Guernsey Sky." The book served as a compelling account of Jag's personal journey, as she delved into her family's concealed history during the occupation of Guernsey and beyond.
